Airbrushing - Russian Style 2

Here's another work of Ilnur Mansurov. After I published the previous post someone asked me how much could it cost. I wrote Ilnur a letter and he sent me the prices. Here's a short price summary:
Sketching and research: $500
The whole car airbrushed (including bumpers, roof, handles): $8000-12000
One side of a car: $2000-4000
Hood only: $ 1500

This is probably just me, but when you first look at the car, it almost looks like it's dirty. Am I the only one who gets this impression?

No Anonymous....I got the same impression. At first I thought it was shadows but after looking at it it looks to be just the paint. This is not a paint job I would pick for my car but to each his own.

i suppose if i agree with anonymous, the benefit of thinking the car was dirty is the contrast between dirty and what's really going on with the car...and what's really going on is that the car is really freaking amazing... great artist.
